Grade: Colorado Rapids only had three picks during the 2012 MLS Drafts and with these three picks made some interesting choices. Tony Cascio had a good career at UCONN although there is some concern over his pro ability as his only pure position is right winger and there concern about his speed. Yamada has great speed and played well duing the combine so was projected as a higher pick although career wise he was a bench warmer for a J2 club which comparably is worse than the MLS. Although not invited to the combine Helmick was regarded as Goalkeeping prospect in a rather weak class for Goalies C-
